Part 1: Christmas at Home in Huntly / Hogmanay in the snow
Like every year: 24th December, about 6pm we gather with sausage rolls and Plaetzchen in the living room; a bit of Prosecco, a bit of singing, piano, some photos, ringring, downstairs into the dining room, clickclick, the lights, the candle, the crib, fondue, the rounds of presents, I love Christmas!
Part 2: Snow in Norway
Every year we are seeking snow to beat the winter blues. This year we all went to Norway, Lilehammer/Susjoen. The week’s day were routine by sunrise after 9, out on the skies, back at 3 for sunset, a movie, discussing the movie, a bit of reading, a bit of knitting, cooking, bed, bliss.
